আলোর প্রদীপ, সামাজিক উন্নয়নমূলক সংগঠনের দীর্ঘ গনতান্ত্রিক পথচলার ধারাবাহিকতায় গতকাল শনিবার অস্থায়ী কার্যালয়ে সংগঠনটির ৬ষ্ঠ কার্যপরিষদ সাধারণ নির্বাচনের নির্বাচনী তফসিল ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে।প্রধান নির্বাচন কমিশনার মোঃআরিফ হাসান সঞ্চয় বিকাল ৪.০০ঘটিকায় সদস্যদের উপস্থতিতে এই তফসিল ঘোষণা করেন।এসময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন নির্বাচন কমিশনার সাজেদুর আবেদীন শান্ত,সাংগঠনিক উপ কমিটির সভাপতি মোঃ মেহেদী হাসান,সাবেক চেয়ারম্যান এম এম মেহেরুল,সাবেক সাধারণ সম্পাদক আজাদ হোসেন,সাবেক যুগ্ম প্রচার সম্পাদক বোরহান উদ্দিন হাসিব,কাজি হাফিজ আল আনাম সহ সদস্যবৃন্দ।প্রধান নির্বাচন কমিশনার কর্তৃক ঘোষিত তফসিল অনুযায়ী আগামী ১৩ আগষ্ট ২০১৯ রোজ মঙ্গলবার অস্থায়ী কার্যালয় কেন্দ্রে সকাল ১০.০০ঘটিকা হতে ১২.০০ঘটিকা ও বিকাল ৩.০০ঘটিকা হতে ৬.০০ঘটিকা পর্যন্ত নির্বাচনের ভোটগ্রহণ অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।এছাড়া মনোনয়ন পত্র উত্তোলন ও জমা প্রদানের তারিখ নির্ধারিত হয়েছে ২৮ জুলাই ২০১৯খ্রিঃ রবিবার হতে ০৪ আগষ্ট ২০১৯খ্রিঃ রবিবার পর্যন্ত।তফসিল ঘোষণা শেষে এক প্রশ্নের জবাবে প্রধান নির্বাচন কমিশনার বলেন আমরা চাই একটি উৎসব মুখর নির্বাচন।আলোর প্রদীপ সংগঠনের গনতান্ত্রিক এই ধারা অব্যাহত রাখতে আমরা বদ্ধপরিকর। এজন্য তিনি সকলের সহযোগিতা কামনা করে।
