জেলার পুলিশ সুপার মুহাম্মাদ তৌহিদুল ইসলামের নির্দেশে পলাশবাড়ী উপজেলাকে মাদকমুক্ত রাখার লক্ষ্যে অফিসার ইনচার্জ মাসুদার রহমান এর নেতৃত্বে এ অভিযান পরিচালনা করা হয়।
৫ জুলাই রোববার সকালে পুলিশের একটি টিম পলাশবাড়ী পৌর শহরের কলেজ মোড়ে অভিযান চালিয়ে ইউ’পি সদস্য আমিনুল ইসলাম কে গ্রেফতার করেছে।
গ্রেফতারকৃত আমিনুল ইসলাম(৪২) পলাশবাড়ী উপজেলার ৫নং মহদীপুর ইউনিয়নের ইউ’পি সদস্য এবং সে দুর্গাপুর গ্রামের মৃত আমজাদ হোসেনের ছেলে।
দুপুরে তাকে বিজ্ঞ আদালতে সোপর্দ করে পুলিশ।
