অবশেষে কুমিল্লা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের (কুবি)’র ইংরেজি নামে পরিবর্তন এনেছে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রশাসন।
Comilla University এর পরিবর্তে Cumilla University নামটি এখন থেকে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সব কাজে ব্যবহার করা হবে। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সহকারী রেজিস্ট্রার বিপ্লব মজুমদার স্বাক্ষরিত এক বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করা হয়েছে।
